Recycled Sari Hair Scrunchies

Hair scrunchies are an ideal recycling solution for sari material off cuts from the Indian garment industry, while meeting growing demand for eco fashion and sustainable clothing.

These hair decorations are made from colourful variations of beautiful quality sari cloth. Designs and colours are assorted, making every item beautifully unique. 

Recycled Sari made from a mixture of viscose and silk Namaste has been supporting the owner of this business since she bravely set up her own small artisan workshop 15 years or so ago after losing her job when her previous employer ran into difficulties.

They support 35 full time positions with more on contract work according to demand. Employee benefits and working conditions are good and wages are above minimum wage.

The business gives as much work as possible to workers from the disadvantaged sections of Jaipur society, particularly to the slum areas where the really disadvantaged struggle to find well paid work.

We aim to ship the same day if ordered before 2pm or next day if after 2pm.

All items are shipped using Royal Mail Tracked or Evri - You can choose which service is preferred during checkout.
