After having great success with our Outback slipper which we developed using traditional felt making techniques and machines but with an Eco twist by using PET yarn made from recycled plastic bottles. Gumbies decided to go one step further and produce a booty, inspired by the iconic Australian elastic sided work boots, warn by Aussies just about everywhere and used for everything. The Brumby, aptly named after the wild horses of Australia! whether you are camping in the bush, nipping to the corner shop to grab a paper or simply chilling at the ranch, indoors or out, rain or shine, snow or carpet, these guys rock! we’ve used all the good bits that has evolved in the outback slipper, PET yarn (plastic bottles) castor bean insoles for comfort and natural source not forgetting our very own iconic patented sure grip/durable recycled TPR Gumbies outsole.
